The student learning plan is what directs the child’s education in any give term or year. U-Connect teachers work with parents to develop these plans and offer support to help families work through the plan.

• Lochiel U-Connect Education Centre teachers, parents and students work together to develop an Individualized Student Learning Plan for each student
• The Student Learning Plan lists the specific expected Learning Outcomes and the resources to meet those learning outcomes, as well as the plans for term assessment
• Lochiel U-Connect Education Centre teachers are available for ongoing consultation with families in person, by phone and online
• Several learning outcomes in a student’s Learning Plan may be achieved in face-to-face sessions at Lochiel
• Lochiel U-Connect Education Supports students with Learning Differences and Challenges through assessment, consultation, and assistance with modifying and adapting the curriculum to best meet the individual student's needs. If necessary, an Individual Education Plan is developed. We also have access to Psychoeducational testing and Speech and Language Assessment through the Langley School District.
